September 11, 2001, forever changed our nation. That morning, 343 FDNY firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, and 37 Port Authority Police officers answered the call of duty. They reported to work expecting it to be another day never knowing that they would make the ultimate sacrifice and never return home to their loved ones.We remember the thousands of civilians who lost their lives that day who were simply going to work, traveling, or living their everyday lives. The consequences of September 11 continue to affect lives more than two decades later.Today, we honor every life lost, every family forever changed, and every person who continues to carry the physical and emotional scars of that day.Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. We will never forget. 🇺🇸 ... See MoreSee Less
